Stone Spotting
This site has evolved out of a hobby/interest I have developed over the past two years. For those who are interested please see my introductory blog for more details. There are already fantastic internet and literary resources available such as the megalithic portal, the modern antiquarian and Aubrey Burl's books to name but a few. It is unlikely that this page will ever be comparable. So these pages are really a public area that I can use to share my experiances, thoughts and opinons of the different neolithic sites I have visited. In time I will also hopefully further develop this site to include recomended walking routes and perhaps rate pubs and restaurants nearby that may be complimentary to the stone spotting experiance.
In the meantime i hope that the information i am compiling here will be of interest and use. I also ask you to enjoy but also respect any of these monuments should you decide to visit them.
